Fans of pixelated platform fighters rejoice, as Rivals of Aether is making its long-awaited Nintendo Switch debut today! Taking tons of inspiration from Super Smash Bros. but with its own original ideas and characters filling out the game, it’s worth checking out and has a thriving scene of its own.

Originally released on PC in 2017, today marks an upgrade to a Definitive Edition there, which is the version Switch owners will also have access to. This includes all characters (including guests Shovel Knight and Ori), new modes, and more.

Also announced today, a good boy from a different indie is making their way into the game. Caesar, the military commander that also happens to be a dog from Chucklefish’s Wargroove will be an in-game buddy in RoA.

You can pick up Rivals of Aether on Switch today for $29.99.
