UPDATE: Today’s Pokémon Center x Bear Walker Series 2 skateboard release saw all five boards sell out within the hour. (As of this posting, the wall mount accessory is still in stock and available to purchase.) Check out the individual listing of each skateboard and you’ll find the following at the top of the item’s description:
“Note: This product has experienced shipping delays due to Hurricane Sally. Additional stock will be available on September 29.”
A time hasn’t been specified, but it’s likely it’ll be the standard 9 a.m. PT | 12 p.m. ET release drop.
It’s another limited-time opportunity for Trainers to get their legs potentially back on four wheels. Earlier this year during late February, the Pokémon Company and high-end cruiser manufacturer Bear Walker collaborated to release premium wood-carved skateboards exclusively available at the Pokémon Center’s online store. These 29” skateboards priced at $249.99 apiece featured various fan-favorite Pokémon Pikachu, Gengar, Mewtwo, Charizard, and Gyarados from the original first-generation releases.
Today, the master craftsman from Bear Walker announced that they are coming back for round two. As the Pokémon Company prepares to ready customers with a chance to ride again, the team of woodworkers are busy presenting their new line of boards coming only to the Center’s online store once again. The latest Series 2 lineup features multiple popular pocket monsters from different generations of the franchise. Have a look below at the official images of the new skateboards along with a video showcasing the finalized products!
Bear Walker’s Pokémon Series 2 skateboards will include Mew, Toxtricity, Rayquaza, Togepi, and Umbreon. While the boards are not up just yet for purchase, they will be available next week on Tuesday, September 22nd, according to The Pokémon Company’s social media pages. We’ll be sure to let you all know when these limited edition boards are up for order. In the meantime, to keep up to date on the Pokémon Company and Bear Walker’s latest collaboration, you can take a look at their official page.
