Last week, Apple released its newest iOS update for its line of mobile devices. In the 14th version of their firmware, one of the latest additions the update brings is a feature called “widgets.” These customizable blocks can display pictures, calendars, personal notes, or even weather charts directly on your home screen. Along with the widgets, users now have a way to change their application icons without a need for jailbroken devices through additional creative shortcuts.

As you would expect with these types of opportunities, some Nintendo fans have taken it upon themselves to go all out across social media forging custom themes focusing on their favorite franchises for their own iPhones and iPads. Talented users like @Ginny_the_squid on Twitter, for example, created a magnificent Splatoon 2 theme. Have a look at their expert craftsmanship below!

You can customize your home screen through several applications such as Widgetsmith and Color Widgets. Find some inspiration and get creative!
