The latest Ninjala Developer Diary has arrived, and with it comes details on the game’s collaboration with Sonic the Hedgehog. Soon players will be able to get costumes based on Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles along with other items and references to Sega’s blue blur. So while the characters themselves aren’t appearing, you’ll be able to use your Jala to dress like these three Sonic heroes.
In the time stamped video above, the developers both discuss the collab length and showcase each of the costumes. They then go on to show the Dr. Eggman Gum Utsusemi item, as well as other Sonic themed cosmetics and emotes for your character. The collab will run from September 23rd until October 21st.
Beyond the Sonic related info, the video also discussed some of the Season 2 additions that have come to Ninjala. This includes the Board weapon type (shown off with the Sonic costumes as well) and the upcoming Featured Battle, Beast Attack. It looks like the free to play game is continuing to grow and find its footing. Anyone who’s liked what they’ve seen can download it from the eShop now.
