Arcades were paradise for certain games, from fighters and beat ‘em ups to lightgun shooters. No arcade would be complete, though, without some kind of driving game. Out Run, Daytona USA, Hydro Thunder (it’s driving, but BOATS) — they all could be seen a mile away for their distinct cabs and their multiplayer possibilities. Even Mario Kart’s made it to arcades, but if you have that need for chunkier ’90s speed, look no further than Hotshot Racing.

Available now, the game aims to capture the spirit of that particular era of arcade racers. You can check out our Hotshot Racing review to see how it succeeds in that endeavor, and pick up the game from the eShop (as well as on other consoles’ digital storefronts) now.
