Just a few weeks ago we brought you a report from Bloomberg that a new Switch revision is planned for 2021. Now, they’ve added another rumor to the mill, suggesting that 4K-readiness is top priority.

In the new article, which mostly focuses on the Switch’s strong sales momentum throughout 2020, it’s reported that “several outside game developers” have anonymously said that Nintendo has asked them to make their games 4K-ready.

It’s worth noting that once again this report comes from Takashi Mochizuki, who has accurately reported on Nintendo leaks going back to the Nintendo NX days.

We’ll be sure to bring you news regarding the enigmatic Switch upgrade if and when it’s announced.
