Super Mario Galaxy is the newest of Super Mario 3D All-Stars’ collection, and it definitely shows. With visuals, music, and gravity mechanics that its predecessors couldn’t even dream of, it took our breath away in 2007. Now, in 2020, it is poised to do the same again.

This space flight through Good Egg Galaxy is sublime, reminding us of the first times we hopped into a Launch Star. That was just the beginning of Mario’s adventure through the stars, but he wasn’t alone.

Along with the gameplay, we also got to see the moment where Mario met Rosalina for the first time and partnered up with the Baby Luma. It may’ve dialed back when it comes to cutscenes compared to Sunshine, but Mario Galaxy still had heart and left its mark in part because of this queen of the cosmos.

Look forward to your own rendezvous with Rosalina when Super Mario 3D All-Stars comes to Switch for a limited time starting September 18th.
