It’s been a challenging year for Pokémon GO developer Niantic. In a time when everyone is encouraged to stay at home and away from others, a mobile game centered around going out and playing in groups isn’t exactly set to thrive within the “new normal.” Fortunately, Niantic remains committed to helping players continue to enjoy the Pokémon GO experience despite the social restrictions in place; for example, the Remote Raid feature, introduced back in April, allows Trainers to Raid with friends while staying at home. Starting on Tuesday, September 1st, players will be able to purchase a new bundle containing three Remote Raid Passes for the bargain price of a single PokéCoin.

According to the official Pokémon GO website, the deal will be available until September 30th at 1:00 p.m. PDT, in celebration of this month’s Mega September event. This event revolves around the new addition of Mega Evolution in Pokémon GO, and will add new avatar items, Special Research, and weekly missions, all of which are detailed in our handy Mega Evolution guide. Just remember, you need to have fewer than three Remote Raid Passes before you can purchase more; but if you’re actively playing, you should have no problem burning through any Passes in your inventory before the end of September.

This isn’t the first time Niantic has offered players one-PokéCoin bundles this year, giving away various types of Poké Balls and berries for essentially free. It’s a welcome bonus during this strange time, and something we hope to see continue.

Stay safe, and happy raiding!
