With the ongoing quarantine, it’s not exactly an ideal time to hit up the arcade with your buddies and get in on hot Taiko drumming action. Fortunately, now no amount of distance can stop you from jamming with your friends, because Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun has added an all new eSports Tournament mode online.

As its name implies, the mode offers tournament-style matches with up to eight competitors total. You’ll face off against your rivals in two rounds per match — one with a randomly selected track, and another that the player gets to choose for themself ahead of time. Even when a player gets knocked out, they can still spectate the remaining matches (which all have commentary courtesy of anthropomorphic drumsticks Master Bachio).

The tournament patch is live now, and in addition there’ll be a new slate of DLC songs coming to the game tomorrow, which includes tracks from Haikyuu, the latest Pokémon anime, and god of gods Hatsune Miku (PBUH).
