Behaviour Interactive has been hard at work transforming Dead by Daylight into an online, survive-or-die playground for all supported platforms. After tweeting out an emoji teaser about cross-play, a day later the servers are ready for PC (Microsoft Store and/or Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One players to play match after match together.
We're super excited to announce that Cross-Play & Cross-Friends are now available on PC and Consoles. For more information: https://t.co/ivO7zdTDMc
Note: Players will have to quit and restart the game for the change to take effect. #deadbydaylight #DBD #dbdcrossplay pic.twitter.com/S2wBpHivO5— Dead by Daylight (@DeadByBHVR) August 13, 2020
Dead by Daylight’s mobile platform has yet to be integrated into the group, and there are plans to incorporate Google Stadia at launch. There’s an FAQ available on Dead by Daylight’s forums and you’ll find answers to questions like how to find and add friends from other platforms to how to turn off cross-play altogether. Have a question that isn’t answered? The Dead by Daylight Twitter account has been fielding some questions, but there’s also an official Discord community for the game.
