Pokémon Sword and Shield Art Director James Turner is sure feeling nostalgic lately. After sharing a fantastic illustration yesterday based on the first Pokémon title he ever worked on, 2003’s Pokémon Colosseum, today he is paying tribute to its sequel, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
As Turner points out, today marks the 15th anniversary of Pokémon XD’s Japanese launch. His latest artwork depicts protagonist Michael with his starter Pokémon Eevee, along with his sister Jovi and her Minun and Plusle.
Today is the 15th anniversary of the release of Pokémon XD in Japan, and I had to draw a little art to mark the occasion. This was the second Pokémon game I worked on! pic.twitter.com/I4xcqwPTQm
