Lucky trainers in Japan have a new sight to explore. Pokémon fans living in Fukushima can look forward to finding nine branded manhole covers featuring Kanto’s iconic healer pocket monster Chansey. These newly dubbed “Poké Lids” are planned to be distributed in various municipalities over time with each city housing a unique design dedicated to the popular Pokémon. Take a look below at the various designs coming soon and the first manhole cover that has been installed photographed alongside a Chansey mascot in a white bow!

Pokémon GO players in the area can also easily find the newly installed manhole covers as each one will soon be programmed in as a unique designated PokéStop. Players passing by these stops can pick up various items as usual and likely find their very own Chansey to catch.
