During these strange times we live in, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become a host for events such as virtual dates, graduations, talk shows, and so much more. At the time of this writing, even toilet paper brand Cottonelle is running a branded decorating challenge within the game!

It’s time to add another (super wholesome) event to that ever growing list: The Tokyo Fire Department’s disaster preparedness and summer safety program. Due to the inability to safely host in-person events and drills, the Department’s official Twitter has been utilizing New Horizons as a means to convey safety tips and info over the past few weeks.
