Last week, Marvelous’ Japanese YouTube channel released three new trailers for the adorable Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin. The indie project is part farming sim and part 2D Hack-and-Slash, with crafting elements mixed in for good measure.
Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin tells the story of a spoiled Harvest Goddess who has been cast out and forced to live on an island among humans and dangerous beasts. The new trailers show off each aspect of the game, including a sneak peek at the game’s opening story beats. Fans of games like Stardew Valley, Rune Factory, and Story of Seasons should keep a close eye on this cutesy and quirky entry into the genre!
Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin will launch on Nintendo Switch on Tuesday, November 10th. You can check out all three of the new trailers below.
