Earlier this week, the Developers over at Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK shared some of their artistic influences from Columbian architecture and nature. As Columbian natives, they’ve worked to create a JRPG-inspired title that skillfully mixes in touches of their heritage for inspiration and perspective. The result of their efforts is Cris Tales, a time-traveling, turn-based RPG with a unique, almost hand-drawn artistic flair. Cris Tales oozes Columbian charm and beauty from its stunning vistas and cities, all the way down to the main protagonist’s righthand-frog.

If you’d like more detailed info on the artistic influences of the team, as well as to learn more about the game’s story, you can check out the full article. And if you’re itching to jump into the game as quickly as possible, a free demo is available now on the Switch eShop! You can check out a trailer for the demo below.
