Update #2: As of Thursday, July 16th, all Pokémon Trainers can send out invites! Niantic removed the level caps that were issued on the previous day and announced the change on Pokémon GO’s Twitter account.

Update: Niantic has limited the new feature to Pokémon Trainers who are level 32 and up. The level cap will be lowered throughout the week, so keep checking back here for future updates!

Good news, Pokémon Trainers! Niantic has finally made inviting friends to battle alongside you in Raid Battles possible! Announced on Twitter today, this feature is rolling out and active for Pokémon Trainers at level 40.

Similar to previous update releases, Niantic will announce the next batch of Trainers and what level they need to be on the official Pokémon GO or Niantic’s Support Twitter accounts. Once everything is working properly, all Pokémon Trainers will finally be able to take part in this highly requested feature.
