Unfortunately, it looks like we’ll have to wait a bit longer for Crysis on Nintendo Switch. Developer Crytek announced in a statement yesterday that they’ll need to “delay the launch date [for all platforms]” of Crysis Remastered.

The announcement came after a trailer leaked for the game on YouTube, ultimately lowering fans’ expectations for the remaster due to poor graphical fidelity. As such, Crytek will “take the time on polishing the game.” Of course, Crysis Remastered will be the first time the series appears on a Nintendo console, so hopefully they can get things squared away.

The original release date, according to the trailer, would’ve been July 23rd. No word on a new target date was revealed, but once we hear of a definite release date for Nintendo Switch and other consoles we’ll be sure to let you know.
