Released last month in the Nintendo eShop for Switch, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is no longer a digital-only release. Announced today, Oddworld Inhabitants Inc. and Microids are making a physical copy of the game a reality — and offering it in two flavors.

Available in standard and limited edition versions, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee will have a spot on retailers’ shelves in the United States and Europe. There are two separate release dates for the regions, so mark your calendar down accordingly. Its release in the United States is on August 25th, whereas its European release is on August 27th.

What’s inside the limited edition? Microids has crafted a preview image and list, as well as a trailer cut along with gameplay footage.

For Oddworld fans, the Limited Edition will include the following:

  • The game Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee
  • An exclusive limited box and a lenticular with a unique design
  • A unique keychain imprint of Munch’s foot
  • A complete set of limited-edition stickers representing Abe, Munch, the famous can and more…

Along with this announcement, a free DLC update will be available soon. This update will be focusing on the game’s voice acting, language tracks for French, German, Spanish, and Italian will be added.

Interested in adding Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee to your Nintendo Switch physical library? Right now the game’s standard edition is available to pre-order at Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon for $29.99.
