We recently learned that The World Ends With You was to be a part of Anime Expo 2020. As-is we only have art featuring the game’s cast and AX’s own mascots, but it looks like there may be more happening with the series.

As detailed above, a new trademark was filed by Square Enix at the beginning of June for すばらしきこのせかい, or Subarashiki Kono Seaki, which was the game’s Japanese title. While this isn’t conclusive proof of a new game of some kind, it certainly seems the DS favorite is on Square’s mind.
