There have been plenty of good looking Metroidvania games in recent memory, and Gestalt: Steam & Cinder is following the trend. It looks to take several cues from the Castlevania series in particular, with detailed sprites and environments paired to promising gameplay.
The trailer (fittingly) highlights its presence on Steam, but according to the game’s official Twitter it will also be coming to Nintendo Switch and other consoles. Sold Out Games has got my attention, and I’ll be definitely keeping an eye out for more info on its release sometime in 2020.
