The latest Ninjala developer diary is bursting with news and a breakdown of the game’s second open beta. Of all the topics covered, the big standout is the first-ever livestream for the game. Announced at the end of the video and published as an update on the Ninjala site, GungHo Online will be hosting the live event on Wednesday, June 17th, at 10 p.m. PT | Thursday, June 18th, at 1 a.m. ET. There’s a special guest joining the developers, too!

“To get everyone excited for the official release on June 24, we’ll be presenting our first official Ninjala live broadcast!

The stream will feature a special guest appearance by Japanese pop star Kyary Pamyu Pamyu!

Viewers can look forward to the latest information on Ninjala, as well as the announcement of a Ninjala x Kyary Pamyu Pamyu collaborative project!

Don’t miss it!”

If Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s name doesn’t sound familiar, this wouldn’t be her first time involved in a video game. Some of her pop hits have made it into Taiko Master and Japan’s release of two Just Dance games, and they’ve also made it into western TV and films like The Simpsons, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and Sing.

To watch the stream, you can tune in at GungHo Online’s YouTube channel or Twitch account on June 17th at 10 p.m. PT.
