For myself and many I know, the N64 was the console that they became a Nintendo fan on. Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards; not to mention the original Super Smash Bros. itself all came from this beauty, and that doesn’t even scratch the surface. Thankfully we’re getting a Spirit Board event to dive a little deeper into the Nintendo 64’s legacy.

Spotted on here are the extended Kong family of DK64, some memorable faces from Majora’s Mask, and more. Expect some more spirits to join them this weekend, when the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate N64 Spirit Board event begins on June 5th.
Oh, and as for the background art, it’s based on the original Japanese Nintendo 64 hardware box!
