Bandai Namco has reported via the latest issue of V-Jump that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has passed 6 million units shipped and digitally sold worldwide (as translated by Gematsu). The arena fighter/RPG hybrid originally launched for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016, with a port to the Nintendo Switch released in 2017.

To celebrate the sales milestone, a new major update is on the way that’ll make Chronoa a playable character, alongside new customization items based on Broly and the Supreme Kai of Time. More characters will also be available through the Partner Customization system.

A release date for the new update has yet to be confirmed.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
