A listing for what appears to be a new Metroid game for Nintendo Switch 2 has leaked online.
Titled Metroid Ravenous, journalist Felipe Lima spotted the title on a page from Brazil’s Ministry of Justice and Public Security system. The listing has since been removed, but screenshots have been shared online.

No other details on the project were included, though the naming convention of “Metroid Ravenous,” and the lack of “Prime” in the title, could hint at a new 2D title along the lines of 2021’s Metroid Dread.
The document has yet to be independently verified, so the story should be treated as a rumor for now. It does, however, coincide with other recent rumors – in May, industry insider Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly stated that a new Metroid title was “on the near horizon.”
