Last E3 Bethesda announced that The Elder Scrolls: Blades would be heading to the Nintendo Switch, only for it to then face a delay late last year into early 2020. Now, at long last, the mobile game has hit Nintendo’s platform.

The free-to-play game made its debut on mobile in early access last year, and it got its full release on Android and iOS just a couple of days ago. Unlike the standard Elder Scrolls experience, Blades doesn’t feature a wide open map, instead you take on quests through linear locales and upgrade a central hub. Player-Versus-Player combat is also supported via an Arena.

You can jump into the game now by downloading it for free via the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
