Netherrealm’s fighting games have become synonymous with meaty story modes, and Mortal Kombat 11 was no exception, but if you thought the story was over, think again. A new trailer has been put out by the studio confirming that story DLC is on the way, with the subtitle “Aftermath”.

That’s not all! The expansion will include three new characters — the returning Sheeva and Fujin plus another iconic film character: RoboCop.

Finally, a free update is on the way for everyone on the same day, which will add more stages, stage fatalities, and bring back Friendships.

You’ll be able to grab Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath starting May 26th.
