Splatoon 2’s first Splatfest, Mayo vs. Ketchup, was a controversial match-up. Across all regions, Team Mayo reigned supreme. That may-o change next month, as Nintendo decided to bring back this Splatfest for a do-over.

This is a big surprise, as squid kids from all over the world were told that there would be no more Splatfests after July 2019. Hopefully this rematch can inspire another round of Splatfest rematches — or even bringing a few themes back from the original Splatoon!
