Thanks to YouTube user and Mario modder Kaze Emanuar and their Mario 64 mod, you’re now able to experience Super Mario Odyssey without the need for a Switch. The Super Mario Odyssey 64 mod recreates the Switch title within the world of Super Mario 64, making for a unique look and experience.
The trailer, seen above, highlights what you can expect from the mod, but if you’re curious on how levels play out there are playthrough videos, too. This isn’t Kaze’s first foray into modding a Mario title; five years ago he fully recreated Super Mario Bros. within Super Mario 64.
For those interested, you can find the download and patch files on the YouTube link. Of course, please install/play at your own risk, but as of right now you don’t need a Nintendo Switch to playthrough and enjoy Super Mario Odyssey anymore.
