Nestled into the Nintendo Direct Mini was a reveal from Bandai Namco Games for the latest in one of their arcade staples — though it might be a little familiar for longtime or import fans. Originally released on the GameCube in 2002 exclusively in Japan, the Switch and the rest of the world will be getting Mr. DRILLER: DrillLand on the eShop!

Spun off from DigDug, the cute and addictive action of this subterranean puzzle series always stood out to me in arcades and elsewhere. This entry sees you traveling to an underground amusement park that houses five different drilling game modes for six different characters. Local multiplayer will also be included for up to four players, as well as a low-stress Casual mode.

Mr. DRILLER DrillLand will be unearthed on Nintendo Switch and PC on June 25th.
