Animal Crossing: New Horizons update fixes item duplication glitch | Nintendo Wire

Animal Crossing: New Horizons only launched last Friday and in the time since players discovered a bug that allowed for the rapid duplication of items, leading to easy bells.

It’s taken a few days, but Nintendo has pushed out a new update which fixes a “serious bug” that affects game balance, likely referring to the infamous glitch.

So if you want to partake in some cheeky item duplication, you’ll have to rope in a local friend and not update to version 1.1.1.
