Even though there aren’t any sports to watch, you might be able to get your fix through sports games instead. One potential game is Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, which received a new trailer from Bandai Namco:

The new trailer from the sports/anime/soccer game shows off its “New Hero” approach, where you make a character, pick a team, and start your journey to the top. The three teams are Toho Academy, Furano Middle School, and Musashi Middle Schoool. Each team in Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will lead you down a different path and choices, all while training your character between matches to improve.

Unfortunately, Bandai Namco didn’t announce a hard release date for the football (soccer) title, but it’s currently slated for a Nintendo Switch release sometime in 2020.
