SXSW is the latest event to be cancelled due to coronavirus concerns, with the city of Austin making the call just a week before the event was scheduled to take place.
This means the various planned panels, like Reggie’s, have been cancelled. One of the biggest panels for gaming news would have been the Sonic the Hedgehog “Gotta Go Fast” panel, which has provided major updates on the likes of Sonic Forces, Sonic Mania Adventures, Team Sonic Racing, and many more projects over the past couple of years.
Thankfully the content from the panel is still planned to be shown off, albeit a little later than planned. As the official Sonic Twitter account revealed, the updates will be shared via a “new format” in April.
