The coronavirus is affecting the world in a lot of ways. Within the past few weeks, reports have been made regarding shortages for Nintendo Switch and a delay for the release of The Outer Worlds for Switch. And now it looks like a few products planned to release at the upcoming Fire Emblem Expo II are being affected.

A number of items were previously announced for the event, including a silver ring created to represent Three Houses. While the ring will still be available, these other three items will be discontinued due to the outbreak of the coronavirus in China:

  • Fire Emblem Awakening – Lucina Blue Light Cut Glass & Mask Case
  • Fire Emblem: The blazing Blade Animation Folding Fan
  • Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Laguz Folding Fan

Those who have already submitted deposits for the products will be contacted about the discontinuation by the company of distribution once a method for refunding is settled on. While it won’t affect a lot of people, especially those here in the US who won’t be able to attend the expo, the halt of production is still worth taking note, as many areas of the world are being affected by the sickness.
