If you’re into dystopic, noir-inspired games, there’s a new kid on the block: Backbone has officially been revealed by Raw Fury, and will arrive sometime in 2021. The announcement was made via YouTube, with the publisher sharing an official reveal trailer, which you can watch below.

Backbone is set in a fictional dystopian Vancouver, BC, where you play as Howard Lotor, a raccoon private eye. The game also features a distinct pixel art style and an original jazz soundtrack, which look to add character to the setting.

For those who use Steam, there’s a demo and introductory mission you can play now, titled Backbone: Prologue. Once we have a concrete released date we’ll be sure to update you.
