Things have been awfully quiet when it comes to NES and SNES titles afforded to Switch Online subscribers. For the the first time in a while we’ve got new games inbound, a pair for each classic system.

NES

Shadow of the Ninja
Eliminator Boat Duel

SNES

Pop’n TwinBee
Smash Tennis

For the first time ever this is a month where I haven’t previously played a single one of the new additions. While I’m excited to give ’em a go from that perspective, it’s notable not a single one of these comes from Nintendo themselves.

All four can be added to your digital collections on February 19th.

If you happen to be in Japan, a Pop’n TwinBee is still making an appearance, but Breath of Fire 2 will be replacing Smash Tennis on the SNES. On the NES side of the house, God Slayer and Atlantis no Nazo will be up for grabs! You can check out the trailer for all four games below.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
