Byleth’s been in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for a week now, with their defining feature being their representation of Fire Emblem’s weapon triangle. Of course, before anything else they’re a professor and it’s about time they do some schooling via a new tournament event to be held this weekend.

The theme this time will be Byleth instructing the game’s bow, axe, and lance using characters. From this send up to the Fire Emblem: Three Houses box art, we know that Villager, Pit, and Corrin will be allowed to participate alongside Byleth – standing in for Edelgard, Claude, and Dimitri here respectively. Of course Corrin’s using a lance by the loosest of definitions here, but without Bandana Dee on the roster what can you do?
If that theming sticks expect Dark Pit, all of the Links, and both Belmonts to make an appearance. Better take the time to study up and be ready for this latest Smash Ultimate tournament event to begin on February 7th.
