Tetris 99’s 11th Maximus Cup celebrates Lunar New Year | Nintendo Wire

It’s time for another stacked competition — Tetris 99’s 11th Maximus Cup begins on Thursday, January 30th, at 11 p.m. PST (so the 31st for most of the world) and runs through February 3rd at 10:59 PST (the 4th for most of the world). This cup is themed around the already-passed Lunar New Year, with the goal of stacking as many event-points as possible:

Compete in online battles in Tetris® 99 mode and stack up as many event points as possible. The top 999 players with the most event points will each get 999 My Nintendo Gold Points! Event points awarded based on rank achieved in each battle you compete in during the event.

So for anyone who has a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, go ahead and boot up your game and get your Tetris on for a chance at victory.
