Back in October, a Nintendo Live event took place in Kyoto, Japan, featuring performances by Splatoon’s Pearl, Marina, Callie, and Marie. As a surprise, the opening act started off with a very unexpected guest. While not a squid kid or Octoling, another beloved Nintendo representative took the stage: Animal Crossing’s very own K.K. Slider!

Taking the stage in his usual cool and composed form, everyone’s favorite guitar-playing pupper kicked off the night by jamming some mellow Splatoon tunes to the excited crowd before him. His gig was brief, but it was still one spectacular way to raise the hype for concert goers and Nintendo fans alike. Excitingly, the full concert is now available — you can have a watch below.

As K.K. himself says, it’s time to “[s]ettle back and dig this groove.” Enjoy!
