If you have lots of fond memories of playing Melee, you’ll definitely want to think about checking out the next Super Smash Bros. Ultimate event tourney, as it’s set to focus entirely on that game’s newcomers.
As you can see in the delightfully nostalgic accompanying image, you’ll be duking it out as the likes of Peach, Pichu, Ice Climbers, and more. Items will also be limited to those from Melee!

The online tournament will start tomorrow, Friday the 3rd of January, and run all weekend.
Sadly, you won’t be able to recreate the one true Melee staple – Fox Only, No Items, Final Destination. There’s always next time!
