Looks like the Phantom Thieves are heading north on their road trip, and have arrived all the way in the Hokkaido prefecture. Carrying a historic flavor all its own is Sapporo, with many of the city’s trademark sites making an appearance. The Sapporo Clock Tower looks to be getting a good deal of focus, but the likes of Odori Park (and the Sapporo TV Tower) and the Susukino entertainment district are all present and accounted for. There’s even time for a hot spring visit!

Beyond that, Joker and company will meet local politician Mariko Hyodo, who seems to be most familiar with Haru and her father’s business. Even though the game’s events will take place in summer, when it comes to the Metaverse, the city will be blanketed in plenty of snow and ice. That means everyone’s favorite mascot, Jack Frost, can make an appearance as the Phantom Thieves infiltrate the Sapporo Jail.

The place has some kitchen imagery, such as forks, knives, and stoves. It’ll be a good time for Anne and her fire skills to shine, and there’ll even be some unique gameplay features like snowboarding — a popular pastime in Hokkaido.

You can expect further details on more locations and features of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers as we head closer to its February 20th release in Japan.
