The ESRB is famous for letting ratings of unannounced games slip before it’s time, and it looks like it may have happened again. This time, the ESRB has given a rating to a Switch version of Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour. This version of Duke Nukem 3D originally launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2016, and it’s an updated release of the original Duke Nukem 3D from 1996.

The 20th Anniversary edition originally added a fifth episode to Duke Nukem 3D’s campaign, so it’s probably safe to assume that extra content will also make its way to the Switch version. With games like Doom and Duke Nukem, the Switch is becoming a go-to place for classic, retro first-person shooters!

Much like every other version of Duke Nukem 3D, the Switch version was given an M for mature. After all, this isn’t the ‘90s — Nintendo’s not replacing blood with sweat anymore! When fans will get to relive this classic isn’t yet clear; hopefully this ESRB rating leads to an official announcement soon.
