Upcoming Nintendo Switch-exclusive game Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be getting a limited run of physical versions — both in Standard and Collector’s flavors.

The Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be handled by publisher Strictly Limited Games, only available for a limited time.

The Standard Edition will include an exclusive cover and individual numbering, with only 3,500 copies available for purchase.

On top of what the Standard Edition includes, the Collector’s Edition will also come packed with:

  • A “high-quality collectors box with magnetic closure.”
  • The original soundtrack from TAITO’s “House Band” Zuntata (which includes both the Bubble Bobble 4 Friends soundtrack and the original Bubble Bobble soundtrack).
  • A hardcover book providing “fascinating insights into Bubble Bobble.”
  • Two sheets with a “stylish” marquee and artwork stickers.
  • A Bubble Bobble instruction card.
  • A Bubble Bobble arcade flyer.

Additionally, the Collector’s Edition will also be shipped in a special “retro-style” cardboard box as a “tribute to the classic packaging of vending package circuit boards in the 1980s and 1990s.”

The Collector’s Edition of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be limited to only 2,500 copies.

The Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition of Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will be available to purchase exclusively from Strictly Limited Games’ online store starting October 27th, 2019 for the price of €39.99 and €89.99.

Both editions will ship worldwide.

Meanwhile, a standard, non-Strictly Limited Games physical retail version, as well as the digital version, will be handled by publisher ININ and will be available starting November 19th, 2019 in Europe and Australasia and “early 2020” in North America.
