For all you digital-only players or anyone who doesn’t want to fuss with swapping cards for favorite games, we’ve got an update for one of this year’s biggest releases. Pokémon Sword & Shield are a month away, and thanks to Twitter user @MIN428, we have a look at their file size.
剣盾の容量は10.3GB。けっこう食うな…。

At 10.3 GBs, this puts the game under fellow Switch heavy hitters like Breath of the Wild and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and right around Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ 11. It’s also well above the Pokémon: Let’s Go! titles’ 4.2 GB. Keep in mind that this is before any potential updates or supplementary software, like the eventual release of Pokémon Home.
If you’re going digital, be sure to plan accordingly. If you aren’t, you can still order your physical copies of Pokémon Sword & Pokemon Shield ahead of their November 15th release — at Amazon, GameStop, and other retailers.
