By all accounts, the hand-drawn 2D action platformer Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has been a smashing success, achieving critical acclaim and becoming the most profitable console venture for publisher FDG Entertainment. It looks like they’re hoping to replicate that success in the future, as FDG has teamed up with Game Atelier, the game’s developer, for a new, more ambitious project.

No more specifics have been shared, but we can assume it will launch for Switch seeing as Monster Boy sold 8x better on Nintendo’s platform compared to the competition. We’ll be sure to bring you more as it’s announced!
