The marketing cycle for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield has started to get a little more experimental lately – just recently we had a glitched Pokémon turn out to be Farfetch’d’s Galarian evolution, Sirfetch’d.
You might want to strap in for the long haul with this latest scheme, though. The Pokémon Company is set to live stream a luminous forest within Galar called Glimwood Tangle for 24 hours straight, where viewers can watch some Pokémon in their natural habitat.
It does seem like a good place to drop a surprise Pokémon reveal, but we’ll have to wait and see once the livestream starts on October 4th.
