Get your tissues ready — Kan Gao’s melancholy masterpiece To the Moon hits the Switch on January 16th, 2020, as revealed in a new teaser that delivers the news in the most To-the-Moon-esque way possible (which is to say, Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts trying to outdo one another’s lunar puns):

For those not in the know, To the Moon originally released in 2011 as an RPG Maker game about two doctors traveling into a man’s memories in order to fulfill his dying wish. Its evocative, heartrending narrative and colorful characters have made it cherished by many, and now the game is being fully remade in Unity for the Nintendo Switch version. Stay tuned for more info on the port in the coming months.
