Plush workshop extraordinaire Build-A-Bear brought beloved Pokémon Snorlax to life just a week and a half ago, and the company was kind enough to send over the online exclusive bundle to Nintendo Wire Headquarters right after the big (gigantic) release. I’m no stranger to BAB’s Pokémon line — from Pikachu, to Vulpix, to Bulbasaur, I’ve had the pleasure of spending a lot of time photographing and promoting the gorgeous plushes. This Snorlax release though… let me tell you: it’s extra special.
Why? Because the Normal-type, dreaming colossus is just that — it’s the biggest, most snuggly Pokémon release yet! In fact, the plush is so rotund (and lovably squishy) that Build-A-Bear sends fair warning to buyers, mentioning that it won’t fit into the usual standard-sized gift box or Cub Condo in the sales description. I can attest to this, and you’ll be able to see for yourself when you view the photo gallery of the friendly giant below.
