Update: Previously we mentioned there were no unique bonuses tied to Kirby series amiibo. However, after further testing with a new batch of taps we can confirm that Kirby series amiibo give the highest amount of resources. Smash Bros. series figures of Kirby characters do not count for this, though they still give bigger bonuses than unrelated. This, too, is in line with Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. So make Kirby series (with the blue base) figures a priority! Original report follows.

In a lot of ways, Super Kirby Clash is a repackaging of Team Kirby Clash Deluxe back on 3DS. The gameplay and progression are all familiar, but with touched up graphics and different bosses to fight your way through, as well as some expansion to multiplayer possibilities. Something else that survived the transition was the game’s amiibo functionality.

Every day you’ll be able to tap up to five amiibo to get some extra resources towards acquiring gear and other items. There don’t appear to be any unique bonuses tied to scanning Kirby series amiibo, so if you’ve got a figure handy and are interested in the pink puffball’s latest quest, be sure to tap in to get those freebies.
