The long-awaited next chapter in the Treasure Trove that is Shovel Knight has been delayed for a while now, but during their special pre-PAX presentation today, Yacht Club pulled back the (fancily embroidered) curtain on Shovel Knight: King of Cards. An all-new trailer debuted, showing King Knight in action and a few snippets of the card battle based minigame that gives the adventure (half of) its name. Oh yeah, and it’s coming in December!
It’s not the only one though, as Yacht Club is ready to throw down with their new Showdown trailer as well. Featuring familiar faces like Mona, Shield Knight, Mr. Hat, and Tinker Knight along with the rest of the Order of No Quarter; it’s a fun and frantic free for all for sure.
Make sure to stop by Yacht Club’s booth at PAX West this week to get some hands-on time with both of these, the previously revealed Cyber Shadow, and the just announced Shovel Knight Dig.
