It’s been a longtime coming, but Lab Zero’s sophomore title is nearly upon us. Crowdfunded after the success of Skullgirls, Indivisible is bringing a different kind of game with the same love and polish to consoles and PC in the near future. If you’ve been sleeping on this one, it’s time to wake up, as the mix of Metroid-style exploration, Valkyrie Profile based combat, and varied cast of characters has kept this title on my radar for years.

While the release date given (October 8th) only applies for the Steam, PlayStation 4, and XBox One releases, the Nintendo Switch version will be coming soon after. There may be some trepidation due to how a certain other (and unrelated to this) crowdfunded game ported to Switch fared, but I still have my fingers crossed for Indivisible — and I encourage Switch owners to do the same.
